Set on Victoria's Bellarine Peninsula, this exciting new event offers a fun, welcoming and professionally run race-day experience for participants of all ages and abilities. Whether you're tackling your first event, chasing a personal best, running with friends, or bringing the whole family along, there's a distance for everyone.

The best part? All races start and finish at the Ocean Grove Hotel, where runners, supporters and spectators can come together after the event to celebrate and enjoy a well-earned refreshment.

🌊 THE COURSE

The Ocean Grove Running Festival features flat and enjoyable courses suitable for runners and walkers of all abilities.

Designed to be welcoming, accessible and ideal for achieving your running goals, the courses will take participants through Ocean Grove and surrounding areas before returning to the lively finish precinct at the Ocean Grove Hotel.

👧 1KM KIDS RACE

Parents are welcome to run alongside younger children at no additional charge.
This event is not officially timed and does not feature placings or awards. The focus is on participation, fun and earning a finisher medal.

🏅 FINISHER MEDALS

Every participant who crosses the finish line will receive an official Ocean Grove Running Festival Finisher Medal.

You may collect bibs for friends or family members. Please have the participant's name, race distance and age category available.

👕 MERCHANDISE

Pre-purchased merchandise can be collected during bib collection hours from the merchandise marquee near the start and finish area.

💧 AID STATIONS

Water and sports drink stations will be positioned throughout the course and at the finish line.

Additional refreshments will be available after your race.

🏆 AWARDS

Awards will be presented to the top three male and female finishers in each age category.

📮 Bib Postage

Participants can choose to have their race bib posted prior to the event during the registration process.

📬 Mailing Information

Race bibs will be posted approximately 2–3 weeks before race day via Australia Post.

Please ensure your postal address is correct when registering.

❗ Haven't Received Your Bib?
If your bib hasn't arrived before race weekend, don't worry.
Simply visit the Registration Tent during bib collection hours and we will issue you a replacement bib.
Unfortunately, replacement bibs cannot be mailed after the original postage date.

💸 Postage Fee Refund

🏃‍♂️ Already Have Your Bib?

If you've already received your bib by post or collected it on Saturday, there's no need to visit registration again on race morning.
Simply arrive, warm up and head straight to the start line when your race is called.

WITHDRAWALS, TRANSFERS & CHANGES

The timeframes below are calculated from the event date.

💸 Refunds

A reminder that during registration you had the option to purchase refund protection through Active.com, allowing you to claim a refund should your circumstances change.

If you selected this option, please submit your claim directly through Active.com as this is the quickest way to recover your entry fee.

Refunds through Event People are available as follows:

No refunds are available after the final refund period under any circumstances.

If an event is postponed, refund eligibility remains based on the original event date.

🔁 Event Transfers

Transfers are available up to 7 days before the event.

Participants may transfer their entry to another Event People event subject to the following conditions:

• Transfers can be made to events of greater or lesser value.
• If transferring to a higher-priced event, the participant must pay the difference.
• If transferring to a lower-priced event, no refund or credit will be provided.
• Transfers are subject to availability and cannot be made into sold-out events.
• Each entry may only be transferred once.
• Once the original event has passed, transferred entries cannot be refunded.

🔄 Distance Changes

Participants may change distances up to 7 days before the event.

• Downgrading to a shorter distance does not qualify for a refund or credit.
• Upgrading to a longer distance may require payment of the price difference.
• If you have already collected your bib, please visit the Registration Tent on race weekend to exchange it.

🚫 Entry Transfers Between Athletes

Entries cannot be transferred from one participant to another.

The Ocean Grove Running Festival is set to make its debut in 2026, bringing an exciting new running event to Victoria's Bellarine Peninsula.

Starting and finishing at the Ocean Grove Hotel on Sunday, 22 November 2026, the festival will offer runners a fun, welcoming and professionally organised race-day experience. Whether you're chasing a personal best, taking on a new challenge, or simply enjoying a run with friends and family, there's a distance for everyone.

Designed for runners of all abilities, the event combines flat, enjoyable courses with a vibrant event atmosphere, friendly volunteers, well-stocked aid stations and a lively finish precinct where participants can celebrate their achievement.

The weekend features a variety of events to suit all ages and fitness levels, including a 21.1km Half Marathon, 10km Run, 5km Run and 1km Kids Race.

All finishers will receive a commemorative finisher's medal, making the Ocean Grove Running Festival a fantastic addition to the Victorian running calendar.
